The Grant/Project Accountant will administer financial reporting and compliance for grants, foundation accounts, sponsored programs, and/or special projects as designated by the Executive Director of Finance or designee. Financial administration will be reported under the parameters established in a grant, partnership agreement, or college accounting standards. The individual is also responsible for working with various constituencies that may include employers, agencies, students, college personnel, and other community partners consistent with the goals of the grant/project.
Major Responsibilities:
Maintains grant and contract fiscal tracking, reporting, and compliance with regards to contractual obligations.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: This position reports to the Director of Finance
Minimum Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Associate's degree in a business discipline or public administration required.
EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. Grant writing experience a plus. Appropriate technical, computer literacy, time management and teamwork skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and initiative to follow through with projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
